I would have bought the Filet-O-Fish far more often had its price reflected its actual production cost. These days I very seldom buy anything from McDonalds, Burger King, Wendy's, or any of their competitors. The quality is low and prices high. My most recent purchase from McDonalds (approximately a year ago) was a Big Mac and chicken sandwich. The Big Mac looked like it was assembled by a blind person.
