STATE POLICE DEPARTMENT ADMINISTRATION
STATE POLICE COLONEL (COL);
The Colonel is the highest rank within the San Andreas State Police. The State Police Colonel is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the agency's operation. The Colonel is also responsible for providing leadership and direction to the department, establishing policies and procedures, and ensuring the department operates effectively and efficiently.
Duties of the Colonel include:
Department Administration Division
Policy Development
Strategic Planning
Supervisor of all direct activities
Other duties as directed by the Board of Directors
STATE POLICE LIEUTENANT COLONEL (LTCOL);
The Lieutenant Colonel is the second highest administration rank within the San Andreas State Police and serve as the right-hand to the Colonel.
Duties of the Lieutenant Colonel include:
Department Administration Division
Assisting the Colonel with activities
Overseeing day-to-day operations of the department
Overseer of the Internal Affairs Division
Evaluations of the State Police Major
Other duties as directed by the State Police Colonel
STATE POLICE MAJOR (MAJ);
The State Major is the third highest administration rank within the San Andreas State Police and serves as the Training & Education Overseer.
Duties of the Major include:
Department Administration Division
Assists the Colonel & Lieutenant Colonel with activities
Training & Development Overseer
Evaluations of the State Commander & Deputy Commander
Other duties as directed by the State Police Colonel
STATE POLICE COMMANDER (CDR);
The State Commander is the fourth highest ranking trooper within the San Andreas State Police. The State Police Commander is the State Police Chain of Command Direct line of contact serving as the Chain of Command Direct Supervisor.
Duties of the Commander include:
Chain of Command Supervisor
Evaluations of the State Captain
Overseeing day-to-day operations of the State Police Recruitment
Other duties as directed by the State Police Colonel & Lieutenant Colonel
STATE POLICE DEPARTMENT COMMAND STAFF
STATE POLICE DEPUTY COMMANDER (DEPCDR);
The State Police Deputy Commander is the fifth highest ranking within the San Andreas State Police. The State Police Deputy Commander is responsible for ensuring the communication between the Captain's and Lieutenant's.
Duties of the Deputy Commander include:
Chain of Command Assistant Supervisor
Evaluations of the State Lieutenant
Overseeing day-to-day operations of the Administrative Command
Assistant Overseer of the Internal Affairs Division
STATE POLICE CAPTAIN (CAPT);
The State Police Captain is the highest Command Staff rank. The State Police Captain is responsible for overseeing department promotions, and they are responsible for all State Police Troopers.
Duties of the Captain include:
Department Command Staff
Reviews Departmental Documents
Evaluations of State Lieutenant's
Shift Commander
Other duties as directed by Administration
STATE POLICE LIEUTENANT (LT);
The State Police Lieutenant is the first Command Staff rank within the State Police. Members of this rank have shown a great amount of dedication to department and has shown an exceptional amount of knowledge in the field. This rank is split into two different sections being operations and administrative.
Duties of the Lieutenant include:
Department Command Staff
Reviews Departmental Documents
Oversee Subdivisions
Document upkeep
STATE POLICE DEPARTMENT STAFF
STATE POLICE SERGEANT III (SGTIII);
The rank of Sergeant III is the last supervisory department rank, they have an increased responsibility within the department and directly evaluate lower tier Sergeant's.
Duties of the Sergeant III include:
Assisting the State Lieutenant with activities
Evaluation of Corporals and Troopers
Shift Supervisor
Handle department complaints
Supervises Troop leaders
Other duties as directed by Command Staff
STATE POLICE SERGEANT II (SGTII);
The rank of Sergeant II is the second highest supervisory rank within the State Police, the Sergeant II works closely with the Sergeant's III to obtain information from Troop leaders.
Duties of the Sergeant II include:
Assisting Sergeant III's with activities
Evaluation of Corporal's and Troopers
Handle department complaints
Shift Supervisor
Looks over departmental forms
Other duties as directed by Command Staff
STATE POLICE SERGEANT I (SGTI);
The rank of Sergeant I is the first rank considered as department staff. Troopers who achieved this rank has shown their leaderships skills and showed they were dedicated to the department.
Duties of the Sergeant I include:
Handles department complaints
Shift Supervisor
Handle LOA's
Looks over departmental forms
Responsible for a Troop
Other duties as directed by Command Staff
STATE POLICE DEPARTMENT JUNIOR STAFF
STATE POLICE CORPORAL (CPL);
State Corporal is the first rank of the State Police Chain of Command, the State Corporal is responsible for in-game supervisory duties.
Duties of the Corporal include:
Supervisor-in-Training
Completion of assigned work
Handle departmental forms
Responsible for a Troop
Other duties as directed by Command Staff
STATE POLICE DEPARTMENT MEMBERSHIP
STATE POLICE SENIOR TROOPER (STP);
The Senior Trooper rank is achieved by troopers who have shown there ability to be thorough, professional and would make good candidates for a Chain of Command position. Senior Trooper is directly under State Corporal in rank.
Duties of the Senior Trooper include:
Completion of all activities and assignments;
Internal Field Training Operations
Respond to calls;
Other duties as directed.
STATE POLICE TROOPER FIRST CLASS (TFC);
The rank after Trooper II comes the rank of Trooper First Class. Trooper First Class have demonstrated increased knowledge in the department and its policies and are upcoming candidates for State Corporal.
Duties of the Trooper First Class include:
Completion of all activities and assignments;
Internal Field Training Operations
Respond to calls;
Other duties as directed.
STATE POLICE TROOPER II (TPRII);
Directly above the rank of Trooper I, is the rank of Trooper II. Troopers that have been promoted to Trooper II are able to apply to apply for more divisions the department offers.
Duties of the Trooper II include:
Completion of all activities and assignments;
Internal Field Training Operations
Respond to calls;
Other duties as directed.
STATE POLICE TROOPER I (TPRI);
Once a Probationary Trooper is eligible for promotion, they will be promoted to the rank of State Trooper, they have showed they are aware of department policies an procedures an have excelled to the next rank within the State Police. State Trooper is the general rank of every San Andreas State Police member.
Duties of the Trooper I include:
Completion of all activities and assignments;
Internal Field Training Operations
Respond to calls;
Other duties as directed.
STATE POLICE PROBATIONARY TROOPER (PT);
Probationary Trooper is the rank assigned to all new members of the department. Probationary Troopers are required to complete there mandatory training & department ride-along per our Bureau of Training & Education guidelines, in order to be certified for solo patrol and eligible for promotion.
Duties of the Probationary Trooper include:
Completion of all activities and assignments
Respond to calls;
Other duties as directed.
